Sixth Grade Presentation

Sixth Grade Presentation

This year the curriculum for sixth grade social studies was changed. They are now studying, among other things, the "Industrial Revolution" which of course includes the impact of the Model T and Henry Ford.

A presentation was developed and has been given to one sixth grade class. To cover all of the students it takes the better part of a day or it did at the one school where the presentation/demonstration has been given.

Outline:

1. Class Periods are around 50 minutes.

2. PowerPoint presentation given and questions answered for about 20 to 25 min.

3. Class goes out to look at the car and to ask more questions 15 to 20 min.

4. Rides given to the home room class if they have permission slip from parent.
